Promote Change with Social Work

Social work is a practice-based profession and an academic discipline that promotes social change and development. The primary goal is to help people in need and to address social problems. Principles of social justice, human rights, collective responsibility and respect for diversities are central to social work.

Social work is carried out by trained personnel with the aim of alleviating the conditions of those in need of help or welfare.
