Psychology
- Psychology courses offer you the opportunity to scientificallystudy behavior and mental
processes. You'll learn about diverse topics, such as: research methods, the brain,
learning and conditioning, memory, social interactions, and psychological disorders.
- Psychology courses can fulfill general education requirements for many of NWACC's
degree paths and can be transferred to a four-year college.
- If you decide to transfer and pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology, you can find employment opportunities in mental health, marketing research, social services, career counseling, and more. Master's and doctoral degrees in psychology will open additional career paths, such as counseling, behavior analysis, and university professor.
