By taking an engineering course, you'll practice applying science and math
to face a problem, work through various thoughts and abstract ideas and then translating them into reality through design and construction. Engineering is the process of designing the human-made world!
Engineering can require in-depth knowledge of mathematics, physics and computer application. Engineering is generally considered to consist of the major primary branches of chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.


Courses, Transfer Options and Careers

Many Engineering courses at NWACC carry transfer credit to four-year institutions and can fulfill general education requirements.  

Going on to earn a bachelor's degree in Engineering can lead to a career in the following occupations:
