The Physical Plant Department is committed to providing quality services and planning to support NWACC in its educational mission.  

The department provides ongoing systematic prevention maintenance of all physical facilities, as well as routine inspection, adjustment and upgrading of control systems. Such duties ensure a safe, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing college environment, as well as a cost-effective operation.

Grounds

The grounds staff maintains and upkeep all landscaped and turf areas. They trim shrubbery, water greenery, fertilize landscaped areas and keep plants flourishing.

Maintenance & Trade Workers

Workers make repairs and implement a preventative maintenance program designed to keep buildings and equipment working at peak efficiency. They also operate and maintain campus heating, cooling and ventilation equipment.
