Campus Master Plan
NorthWest Arkansas Community College is thrilled to be a recipient of a Design Excellence grant through the Walton Family Foundation, enabling a comprehensive campus master planning process for the Bentonville campus. The plan will serve as a guide and vision for the campus, identifying infrastructure needs and priorities to support the College’s future growth.

Firm Profile:
Lake Flato, an award-winning, highly experienced architecture firm, has been selected to assist and guide NWACC through this important journey.

They were recognized with the AIA’s highest honor, the Gold Medal Award in 2024, by ARCHITECT Magazine as the top firm overall in the 2019 ARCHITECT 50, they were the first architecture firm to receive a Texas Medal of Arts award, and the American Institute of Architects honored them with its prestigious Firm of the Year Award. Fast Company recently named Lake|Flato one of the “Ten Most Innovative Architecture Firms in the World” and the LOCUS Foundation honored Lake|Flato with a Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, recognizing their architectural approach to addressing the needs of society. Fifteen Lake|Flato projects have received the national AIA Committee on the Environment Top Ten Award, the highest recognition for sustainable design.
