NWACC Library & Information Commons


NWACC’s Pauline Whitaker Library and Information Commons offer a wide array of services to support your learning and success throughout your college journey.

Access over 140 research databases that can help with your reference and information needs for class projects or research assignments. Library staff can help you narrow your research topics down, navigate databases, find appropriate sources, and master the citation process.

Hours and Location

The library is typically open seven days a week and until 8 pm Monday through Thursday during the fall and spring semesters. View hours to plan your visit to the library in Burns Hall, BH1304.

Accelerated Skills Training Students

  • Accelerate skills training students in qualifying programs may establish a library account if they want to borrow materials. Email the library or visit Burns Hall, room 1304 to get started. 
  • You will not be able to check out laptops from the library.

About Information Commons 

The Information Commons offers computers, printers, copiers and scanners, group work stations, virtual reality technology, and audio-visual equipment to check out. It is located in Burns Hall, BH1217 and can be reached by emailing library@nwacc.edu.

The Pat and Williard Walker Information Commons offers computers, printers, copiers and scanners, limited course reserves, and a study room. It is located at NWACC – Washington County, WC111 and can be reached by emailing library@nwacc.edu.
