Ashley Pointer of Bentonville has been appointed to the NorthWest Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The first Arkansas Wayfinding Convening took place in June 2025 on the NorthWest Arkansas Community College campus, bringing eight colleges together in the process of creating the first microcredential course offerings in Arkansas.
