Workforce Development provides training and development opportunities across a variety of specialized needs, ranging from small businesses looking for team training options to individuals interested in beginning a career in construction. We offer strategic community partnerships and world-class training that allow students to earn an Associate of Applied Science, technical certificates, and certificates of proficiency.

Many courses qualify for full tuition coverage through the Arkansas Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Select programs qualify for Arkansas Education Loans through the Arkansas Student Loan Authority (ASLA). Learn more by visiting the ASLA website and scrolling to the NWACC Workforce and Economic Development loan.

You may qualify for funding through Arkansas Office of Skills Development (OSD) training grants. Visit the OSD website to learn more and apply.

NWACC Workforce Development is a Partner School Provider for Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) testing. Employers may email WEDforms@nwacc.edu to schedule CRC testing onsite at NWACC.  Job seekers, please follow the instructions below: 

  1. Go to Arkansas Job Links to create your profile (or update your profile—must be current). Record a participant number if provided.
  2. Select and take your practice exam at ACT.org
  3. Email WEDforms@nwacc.edu for CRC scheduling.

Non-credit students must complete this form and present it with a photo ID to the NWACC Library to be issued a library card. Non-credit refers to classes that do not apply to credit student status.
