The NWACC commencement ceremony is an exciting time to celebrate your achievements with your family, friends and fellow classmates. Learn more about the big day below.
SPRING 2026 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
- All certificate and Associate degree candidates are encouraged to participate in Commencement if they completed in the
Fall semester or plan to complete in the Spring or Summer semesters.
- Please note that participating in Commencement does not mean you have officially graduated or completed all program requirements.
- Ceremony registration information and general Commencement details — including regalia ordering — are emailed to eligible students early in the Spring semester.
- 04/01/26: Deadline to ensure graduate’s name will be in the program as well as to ensure that guest tickets will be available.
- May 9, 2026, at 9:00 am
- Walmart AMP, 5079 W. Northgate Rd, Rogers, Arkansas 72758
- Graduates should arrive at 7:30 a.m. and report to the VIP area of the AMP for the alumni reception (ticket is required for admission).
- Guests may arrive at 7:30 a.m. to find an available seat (each guest must have a ticket for admission).
- Walmart AMP Prohibited Items/Bag Policy (additionally, glass vases and helium balloons are prohibited)
- Parking is first come, first served in any unmarked space/parking lot near the venue.
- Follow the directions provided by venue signage.
- DIRECTIONS:
- Heading North on I-49, take exit 82 and turn left onto Whitaker Pkwy. Follow Whitaker to the roundabout and take the first right onto Pinnacle Hills Pkwy. Google Map directions to Pinnacle Pkwy from exit 82.
- Heading South on I-49, take exit 83 and head straight to Pinnacle Hills Pkwy. Google Map directions to Pinnacle Pkwy from exit 83.
- 03/16/26: Deadline to order cap and gown from GraduationPortal.com
- After 03/16/26, graduates should contact the NWACC Bookstore for additional ordering options.
- Pickup will be available at Grad Fest or in the NWACC Bookstore.
- Honors cord information
- Only graduates with 3.5 GPA or higher may wear Honors cords.
- Honors cord may be picked up during Grad Fest.
- Our ceremony is being thoughtfully coordinated to address a number of disability related access issues.
- Wheelchair users are able to enter the venue and get to/from guest seating without barriers.
- All venue restrooms, concession stands and merchandise stands are ADA-accessible.
- Sign language interpretation and real-time transcription will be provided.
- A digital program will be available.
- Assistive Listening support is available throughout the venue through the Listen Everywhere App (both iOS and Android devices). Users should download the app to a smartphone in advance.
