NWACC Student Ambassador Application
An NWACC Student Ambassador is a student who is chosen to be the face of NWACC on campus and in the community. They reach out to prospective students, share personal NWACC experiences and successes, provide campus tours, help at recruiting events, and assist the office of New Student Relations. Ambassadors are hard-working, honest, have strong communication skills, and are passionate about NWACC. Applications are due July 26th.
Ambassador Responsibilities:
- Work a minimum of 6 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
- Participate in an additional 6 hours of NWACC sponsored events (5K, Plant-A-Seed Soiree, etc.)
- Attend monthly (or bi-monthly) Student Ambassador meetings and trainings
- Generate content for social media handle @nwaccbound
- Participate in Eagle Welcome, VIP Registration, and other on or off campus events all year round (including summer, winter and spring breaks)
- Commit to representing NWACC in a positive way in person and on social media
- Exhibit responsibility, dependability, willingness to volunteer and a commitment to NWACC
- All other duties as assigned
Credentials:
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Be enrolled 3/4 time (9 hours minimum) for both fall and spring semesters
- Be in good-standing with NWACC and is not on warning, suspension or probation
- Excels in verbal and written communication
- Has a strong and positive feeling about NWACC

Applications are due July 26th.
NOTE:
- An ambassador may be terminated if it is determined they are not maintaining ethics befitting a professional, not performing satisfactorily, failing to communicate with staff, is not able to work productively with other ambassadors or staff members, or is jeopardizing the success of the program.
- Returning ambassadors must reapply and go through the application/interview process each year.
