NWACC believes students and community members should get the most out of their experience while abroad, so it's important to meet the following eligibility requirements:

NWACC students must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in a study abroad program:

  • Be in good judicial and academic standing at the time of application and remain in good standing prior to departure.
  • Have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours with NWACC prior to departure.
  • Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of departure for each program.
  • Meet all course prerequisites (if applicable).
  • Pay any associated costs to college before payment deadline.

College students must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in a study abroad program:

  • Be in good judicial and academic standing at the time of application and remain in good standing prior to departure.
  • Have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours with any college prior to departure (unofficial trnascript).
  • Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of departure for each program.
  • Meet all course prerequisites (if applicable).
  • Pay any associated costs to NWACC before payment deadline.

Community members must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in a study abroad program:

  • Be in good judicial standing at the time of application and remain in good standing prior to departure.
  • Complete interview with Faculty-Leader of interested program (contact studyabroad@nwacc.edu for External Solo Trips).
  • Pay any associated costs to NWACC before payment deadline.
