NWACC Digital Accessibility Statement
NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible digital environment for all students, faculty, staff, and community members. In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, NWACC strives to ensure that our programs, services, and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
We are actively working to make our websites, online courses, digital documents, videos, and other digital resources accessible and usable by all. This includes:
- Public websites and student portals
- Canvas course materials and online learning platforms
- Multimedia content, including videos and recordings
- Administrative forms and documents
- Third-party platforms and vendor systems

While NWACC is committed to making its digital content accessible, some content may
not yet meet all accessibility standards. NWACC makes no warranties or representations,
express or implied, that all content is fully accessible at all times. The college
is working to ensure that all third-party (digital) vendors meet WCAG standards, however,
the college is not responsible for inaccessible content hosted by external websites
linked from NWACC sites.
This statement does not create any contractual or legal rights beyond those provided by federal law. Individuals with disabilities retain the right to request accommodations through NWACC’s established procedures. Students may contact the Disability Resource Center at disability@nwacc.edu. NWACC’s Digital Accessibility Steering Committee regularly monitors digital content, provides training to faculty and staff, and works to ensure ongoing compliance with WCAG 2.1 A/AA accessibility standards. We appreciate your feedback and partnership as we strive to create an inclusive learning and working environment for everyone.
