As a retired Air Force veteran and state park maintenance supervisor, Jerry recently decided to go back to school after 30 years. With his family’s support and a range of assistance offered through NWACC’s Disability Resource Center, his goal is to earn an associate of arts degree and transfer to a four-year university.

In early September, over 20 community members attended the international trip – Experience Greece – guided by NWACC Professor Dr. Sevin Gallo. The trip is one of the many offered to the public through the NWACC Foundation to help raise scholarships funds for students. Learn more on our blog.

This fall, NWACC's new Integrated Design Lab was completed and now holds classes in art, construction and design. The Washington County facility is scheduled to open in spring of 2020.
