Information Literacy/Library Instruction
Please complete the Library and/or Information Literacy Request Form for customized information literacy and library instruction to facilitate learning. Advance notice is appreciated as available time slots tend to fill up quickly. (Due to personnel and space limitations, we can typically only accommodate one session at a time.)
For optimal results, please provide a copy of your assignment and/or share your specific objectives so we can tailor the presentation to suit your needs. Depending on your preferences, we can meet in the Library Lab or in your classroom at any NWACC Location. If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Ackerman (rackerman@nwacc.edu; 619-4246).
Class Visits
You are invited to bring your class to the library to independently work on research projects and/or utilize the Library Lab. We can only accommodate one class at a time, so please avoid conflicts by scheduling your visits in advance. To make a reservation for the Library Lab, please fill out a Library Lab Reservation Request. To make a reservation to bring your class to the main library area for independent work, please contact Rachel Ackerman.
Library Lab
The Library Lab is utilized for information literacy and library instruction and may also be reserved by faculty for group learning activities and testing. It is equipped with an instructor computer connected to a projector, twenty student computers, television with a DVD/VHS player, whiteboard, and software to synchronize computers for instructing, monitoring and collaborating with learners. To make arrangements to use the Lab, please fill out a Library Lab Reservation Request.

Spring 2010 Faculty Survey Answers
At the first spring 2010 Faculty Business Meeting, librarians distributed a survey to help
us assess our communication efforts and identify opportunities for improvement. This summer, we will work on developing new and improved methods to market our resources and services. We appreciate the valuable input of all who participated. View the survey with answers highlighted.
