Academic Advising
Academic advising is one of the most important resources to utilize throughout your college experience. Your advisor can help you plan the correct courses to take in the correct order, so you can earn your NWACC degree quickly and/or fulfill all requirements to transfer to a four-year institution.
Advisors can also offer guidance in using various academic, personal and professional resources available on campus. We encourage you to make an appointment with an advisor to successfully reach your education goals.

Advisors
All new students are required to meet with an advisor in order to register for classes for most programs of study. All other students, we highly recommend you meet with an advisor to ensure you are taking the correct course or that you are on track for your educational goals.
Program Advising
Current students who are on a specific degree path in a particular program should meet with their program advisor each semester to ensure you are on the right educational path.

Additional Advising Services
Students can also take advantage of additional advising services designed for those seeking career guidance or personal improvement, who are veterans or who plan to transfer.
