NWACC offers a variety of degree and certificate programs for your educational and career goals. View degrees and certificates by category below and click through to understand the courses required. 

Note: The state of Arkansas has established a 35-hour state minimum general education core that requires courses in English and writing, the humanities and fine arts, history and social sciences, as well as mathematics and the natural sciences. Be sure to keep the following terms in mind when reviewing NWACC's degrees and certificates:

Degree plans are designed to help you complete state-approved degree plans at NWACC. 

  • Options listed under the Associate of Applied Science degree plans allow you to tailor a degree plan towards your own needs. You may complete more than one option under a degree plan, but you will only be award the degree once.
  • Advising sheets are designed to help you navigate degree plans for a specific option.

Transfer degrees are designed for those who want to complete an associates degree at NWACC and then transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelors degree. Be sure to consult with your academic advisor for course planning and recommendations. Learn about NWACC's transfer services.

  • Transfer guides are designed to help you complete an Associate of Arts degree or an Associate of Sciences – Liberal Arts and Sciences degree within an intended transfer major (the major you plan to pursue at a four year university). Learn more about transfer guides

Some degrees are not designed for transfer, but to develop workforce skills in specific areas. Depending on the four-year college or university, some classes in NWACC's Associate of Applied Science, Associate of General Studies, or Associate of Fine Arts degrees may transfer. Be sure to consult with your academic advisor for course planning and recommendations.
