Program-to-Program Guides (Transfer Guides)
NorthWest Arkansas Community College is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges. Credits are therefore accepted by most colleges and universities in the United States. Even though most transfer courses at NWACC are accepted at most colleges and universities, you should consult with an NWACC advisor to learn how to be sure the courses you take are applicable to the degree you are seeking. Please be advised that it is ultimately your responsibility to check with the institution where credits are being transferred - they make the final decision.
The following guides will, in most cases, allow you to get the first two years of your bachelor's degree while taking NWACC courses. If your major is not listed and you have decided on your university, you may request assistance obtaining an individualized guide.
These are not degree plans. They are guides to earn an associate degree for transfer in a specific major.
They are not a contract. Additional preparatory courses may be necessary in reading, English, and math depending on your placement test scores. You must see an advisor your first semester to determine if preparatory courses are required. It is recommended that you meet with an advisor to see if any program revisions have occurred.
