All new F-1 and J-1 students must meet the minimum English requirements to become a student at NWACC. Most students take the TOEFL, but there are other ways.
Consent to Release Academic Information
Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) law, NWACC is not allowed to release your academic information to anyone without your approval. To approve other individuals, please submit completed form to Enrollment Services.
The I-94 is given to students as they enter the country. It is very important to understand this document and hold onto it.
International Financial Statement Form
In order to receive an approved I-20, international F-1 and J-1 students must submit a financial statement form with proof of funds from a bank statement (bank statement must be within the last six months). Please submit this to the International Programs office for acceptance.
International Students & the DMV
Many students wish to drive in the U.S., which is possible once students have been on campus attending classes for at least two weeks. Follow the above instructions to ease the process at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
