National Exam Rates

NWACC's PTA program has an impressive 100% pass rate for graduates taking the National Physical Therapist Assistant Examination (NPTE) from 1999 to 2020.

PTA Program Rates

NWACC's PTA Program has a 100% pass rate for graduates taking the National Physical Therapist Assistant Examination (NPTE) from 1999 to 2021.

Graduates of all accredited PTA Programs must pass the NPTE to become licensed to practice. The national average pass rate for graduates of accredited PTA Programs is approximately 90%.

The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) develops and administers the NPTE for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.

The two year average graduation rate for graduates from 2020 and 2021 was 85%.

95% average employment rate in 2019 and 2020 for those students who successfully completed the NWACC PTA program.

The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) limits the number of qualified applicants that NWACC PTA Program can admit per year to a maximum of 18 students.
