The NWACC videconferencing system is located in Burns Hall 2414 on the NWACC Bentonville Campus.

Procedure for Rental and Conference
Interested parties should follow the following procedure for requesting rental of the videoconference room and the conference preparation:
- Review the Policies and Fees below
- Contact the Distance Learning Department by e-mail or phone (479-619-4382 or 4299 ) to let us know you are requesting the room and equipment and to check room availability.
- Fill out the Facilities Usage Form (PDF version, FlashPaper version) and submit it to the contact listed on the form. Indicate "videoconferencing" and "BH 2414" under the "Special setup required" portion of the form
- New customers should also fill out a Rental Agreement form (PDF version, FlashPaper version)
- Specify the videoconference option preferred (In-State, ISDN, or IP-Based)
- Fill out and submit any paperwork required by AT&T, our videconferencing network provider, for bridging services
- Schedule and perform a test call between all sites included in the conference
- Transfer of any documents necessary for the conference
- Identify local participants in the conference
- Provide contact information for all additional sites in the conference

Policies and Fees
Usage is permitted by interested groups with the permission of the Learning Department and where necessary, the Facilities Use Committee. Note that usage of the equipment for partisan political activities is prohibited by College guidelines.
NorthWest Arkansas Community College is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, sex, religion, color, national origin, creed, handicap, marital status, or parental status in admissions, educational programs, activities, or employment as specified by federal and state laws and regulations.
The following fees will be charged for the use of the facilities in accordance with the category of the applicant. Please note that NWACC reserves the right to waive fees at the discretion of the authorized administration:
- Educational Use: $50 per hour
- Continuing Education/Administrative Use by a State Agency: $100 per hour
- Non-State Agency (Private): $200 per hour
These rates include a mandatory facilitator charge added to the use fee. A facilitator will be required for all videoconferences.
For Evenings (after 4:30 p.m.) and Weekends an additional: $10 per hour will be charged for facilitator expenses.
In addition, users will be subject to a $100 fee if cancellation of a videoconference is requested within 48 hours of the event.
NWACC is not responsible for additional line charges incurred due to ISDN dial-up costs. NWACC will not dial out for ISDN calls. All ISDN calls must dial into the state port NWACC uses to bridge ISDN calls. |
Videoconference Options
The following videoconference options are available from NWACC
- In-State calls to any willing participant sites on the Arkansas State Educational and Telemedicine Videoconference Network. No additional line charges are incurred for these calls.
- ISDN calls to any in-state site not on the Arkansas State Network, or to out of state sites. Additional line charges will be incurred by the renter. NWACC will pay for the hourly state ISDN port charge. Additional sites must support ISDN calls and match the Arkansas State ISDN Videoconferencing standards (384 KBps, H.320 videoconference protocol, and audio and video protocols)
- IP-Based calls to any in-state site not on the Arkansas State Network or to out of state sites. Additional sites must support IP-Based calls and match the Arkansas State IP-Based Videoconferencing standards (384 KBps, H.323 videoconference protocol, and audio and video protocols)
