The Space Planning (formerly known as ProSpace) program teaches students with a background in retail how to use ProSpace software. The program consists of two classes that meet for 13 weeks.
Students in the introductory course will learn the functionality of the software, and gain hands-on experience building planograms, also known as modulars.
Students in the advanced course will learn how to use ProSpace analytics to improve sales and profitability, and to identify the right product mix and positioning for store fixtures.
NWACC utilizes the latest version of Blue Yonder (ProSpace) software. Students will access this software through a virtual desktop. A course manual will also be provided (physically or through Canvas).
Note: The NWACC Space Planning program is comparable to Blue Yonder space planning training and utilizes the latest version of Blue Yonder/JDA software (used at WalMart).
