Join us for Eagle Welcome, NWACC’s official welcome event for new students! These events are a great way to meet other students, connect with campus resources, and get prepared for your first semester.

Bentonville Campus Dates: 
Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Park in the parking lot of the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies building but please avoid parking in spaces labeled for faculty or staff.

What to Bring

  • Typically, you are not required to bring anything to Eagle Welcome unless you have not submitted financial aid or record documents. You may want to bring your NWACC ID number and photo ID if you need a student ID card or a parking pass. 
  • Feel free to invite a family member or friend to join you during Eagle Welcome. 

 

Event Schedule

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Start with the Resource Fair, followed by welcome sessions. Optional Tour given at 4:00 PM for those interested.

About the Sessions

The first two hours of sessions cover important information to help you succeed at NWACC, including:

  • Student conduct code
  • Counseling and wellness resources
  • College 101
  • Student clubs and organizations
  • Library services
  • Student success resources

We'll also have some fun along the way! By the end of Eagle Welcome, you'll feel more prepared to start classes and be connected to a support network to help you succeed.

Resource Fair

An hour of each event is dedicated to our Resource Fair, where you can meet staff from various campus services who are ready to support your journey. College isn't just about classes — it's about finding your community and the resources that will help you thrive.
