As a mandatory event for newly enrolled students, Eagle Welcome allows you to experience NWACC's Bentonville campus or Washington County location, meet other students, learn about the college's various programs and resources, and feel prepared for your college journey.

  • All students will receive an email and/or text reminding you of your registered date and time.

What to Bring

  • Typically, you are not required to bring anything to Eagle Welcome unless you have not submitted financial aid or record documents. You may want to bring your NWACC ID number and photo ID if you need a student ID card or a parking pass. 
  • Feel free to invite a family member or friend to join you during Eagle Welcome.

Resource Fair

  • The first hour of each event is dedicated to a Resource Fair where students will be able to connect with various services on campus to help students navigate college successfully. College is more than a place to take classes, it’s a place to find the support and network you need to make exciting changes in your life. Visit our resource fair stations to learn about what NWACC offers to help you be successful in college.
  • At the Bentonville Eagle Welcome, the Resource Fair is in the Shewmaker for Workforce Technologies building, rooms C105, C107 and C113  (see campus map). 
  • At the Washington County Eagle Welcome, the Resource Fair is in Rooms 224 and 225 (see campus map).

About the Sessions

  • The next two hours are dedicated to sessions informing you about the student conduct code, counseling and wellness options, College 101 information, student clubs and organizations, Library services, and student success resources. We will also have some fun! At the end of Eagle Welcome, you will feel more prepared to start your college classes and will be connected to a network of support to help you be successful.
  • At the Bentonville Eagle Welcome, the sessions are in the Walmart Auditorium in the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies building  (see campus map).
  • At the Washington County Eagle Welcome, the sessions are in the Event Room 210 (see campus map).
