Eagle Welcome is a new student orientation event for NWACC freshmen. It is designed to help new students and families learn about NWACC, meet staff and other students, and prepare for their first semester!

What to Bring

  • State ID or driver's license to obtain your student ID and parking pass.  
  • Comfortable shoes for walking across campus.

Schedule

  • Plan to spend the full three hours with us!
  • We will provide a meal and a resource fair during which you can learn more about clubs, organizations, and resources available to you as a student.
  • Go on an optional tour of the campus.
  • Attend presentations covering important information about NWACC. 
  • For morning sessions only (Monday, August 10, and Wednesday, August 12)

About the Sessions

The first two hours of sessions cover important information to help you succeed at NWACC, including:

  • Student conduct code
  • Counseling and wellness resources
  • College 101
  • Student clubs and organizations
  • Library services
  • Student success resources

About the Resource Fair

We set aside an hour at each event for a Resource Fair, where you can connect with staff from different campus services who are here to support you. You also have the option to go on a tour of campus during this time.

    • Yes! Transferring students, returning students, and students who want to learn more are invited to attend Eagle Welcome.
  • Do I have to register for classes before attending Eagle Welcome?
  • How do I complete online orientation?  
  • Can I bring someone? 
    • Yes, you are welcome to bring a friend or a family member. Or, you can meet fellow new students at Eagle Welcome!
  • Is a meal provided?  
    • Yes!
