Hazing Prevention Policy and Hazing Incident Violations
NWACC’s Commitment to a Safe and Respectful Campus
NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful educational environment for all students. Hazing, in any form, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated by any individual or group associated with the College.
In accordance with federal and state law and NWACC policy, all students, student organizations, and employees are expected to comply fully with regulations and procedures that prohibit hazing. NWACC will take disciplinary action against any individual or organization involved in hazing activities occurring during College-sponsored functions, events hosted by registered student organizations, or any incidents that substantially impact the NWACC community—regardless of where they occur.

Hazing Violation Transparency Report
In accordance with federal law—and in support of transparency and student safety—(NWACC) publishes a report of hazing violations and any disciplinary actions taken against student organizations. This report is available on this webpage and in the NWACC Annual Security Report. This report is intended to inform students as they consider participation in student groups and to reinforce NWACC’s commitment to a safe and respectful campus environment.
