Introduction to Shelf Management and Intactix Space Planning

Students will be able to identify and explain the merchandising strategies of a modular.  They will be able to explain how to use product and fixture libraries to develop and maintain a modular.  They will be able to develop a modular, determine product placement and utilize space allocation while building planograms.  Students will be able to use highlights, labels, charts and report to help analyze product placement and presentation effectiveness.  They will be able to identify items that have too much or too little inventory.

Advanced Shelf Management through Intactix Space Planning

Students will be able to explain the retail modular process from beginning to end.  They will be able to create analytical tools to monitor performance of their product assortment.  Students will be able to explain and demonstrate how to create new and modify existing planograms to increase profitability and sales.  They will have the ability to estimate the required inventory needed to meet sales goals.  Students will be able to demonstrate how to use Retail Link data with ProSpace charts, tables, labels and highlighting.
