Veteran Resources Center

Our mission in the Veteran Resource Center is to help all eligible veterans, dependents, reservists/guardsman, and disabled veterans (military service-connected disabilities) successfully pursue their education through guidance and assistance, regardless of availability of GI Bill® education benefits from day one until graduation or transfer.

What has been working for the Veteran Resource Center at NWACC is having one central location for veterans and dependents who have decided to pursue their educational goal.  Our one-on-one approach with all veterans and dependents entering our office ensures they have a place they can come to when they need assistance.  It also eases the transition for veterans returning from active duty to the civilian world. This approach has put us on the Military Friendly Schools list for both 2015 and 2016.
We have also been nationally recognized as the only two-year college in Arkansas offering outstanding service to our veterans. The importance of a one-stop center for veterans is to guide them in their educational path and retain them until they graduate or transfer to further their education.
