Outside Scholarships

External Scholarships are scholarships offered outside of NWACC and the NWACC Foundation. Requirements, applications, and review processes can vary from scholarship to scholarship, so it is important to read all of the rules and regulations before you apply. Scholarships available for single parents.

This program offers grants to U.S. citizen undergraduates in good standing in order to create opportunities to study abroad and gain cultural knowledge for our modern world and global economy.

The Executive Women International (EWI) chapter here in NWA, awards scholarships each year. These scholarships are awarded to non-traditional students that have at least 24 credit hours, or have completed 20% of their course work and live in Washington or Benton Counties.

ScrubShopper.com wants to support the medical industry of tomorrow by providing the Greta James Memorial Scholarship to students enrolled in medical degree seeking programs each semester. To be eligible, students must: be enrolled in medical degree seeking programs (Ex: ADN or BSN), provide transcripts from accredited school, and fill out 2 essays highlighting financial need and leadership within their community.

This is a great program funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and focuses on providing educational opportunities to outstanding African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, and Hispanic American students.

The Great Lakes National Scholarship is a program that will help you reach your goal of earning a degree in a STEM field. We're awarding 750 scholarships of $2,500 each to the most qualified students.

This is a needs based grant program providing one-time financial assistance to women whose education has been interrupted and who find it necessary to return to school to complete a degree or certification that improves their marketable skills for employment to support themselves and/or their families.

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA provides financial support for single parent families living in Carroll, Madison, or Washington County.

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Benton County provides financial support for single parent families living in Benton County.

Skills USA is a merit-based scholarship for active dues-paid SkillsUSA member. SkillsUSA is "partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce".
