All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Account. As a participant you can use pre-tax dollars to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses, dependent care expenses and to pay for your portion of the employer-sponsored medical-related insurance premiums.   The benefits to you includes reduced income tax – pre-tax payroll contributions result in a lower taxable salary; saves on the cost of eligible healthcare and/or dependent care expenses;  offers immediate access to elected healthcare FSA funds and covers common types of expenses – medical, dental, ortho, vision, prescription drugs, day care and more.
