Online Learning

Online learning at NWACC can provide you an accessible and affordable way to take college courses and earn a certificate or associate degree. Using a web browser, you can have access to hundreds of online classes from the convenience of your home.

Online Learning at NWACC is typically delivered through the Canvas system. Some courses use MyMathLab and other publisher websites to deliver content. In an online course you can expect to have regular class discussions using a discussion board, submit papers and assignments, and take quizzes and tests within the online system. While your instructor is there to teach the curriculum and answer any questions you might have, you must be a self-directed and independent learner to do well in online classes.

Online Course Cost

This is less than the cost of a tank of gas!

Online courses cost the same as traditional on-campus courses. The only difference is an additional $43 fee that covers the cost of the online system and enhanced support services for online students.
