DRC Alternate-Media Lab Technician

Patricia "Pat" Erion-Hesse, M.A.
Alternate Media Lab Technician, Disability Resource Center

Pat Erion-Hesse is new to the DRC, but she is not new to higher education.  As a former teacher and developmental editor for the Career Education division of McGraw-Hill Publishing, Pat has worked with students, teachers, and authors throughout the country to create market-driven textbooks, study guides, and media products.  A master’s degree in Instructional Design from the University of Iowa has served her well throughout her career.

Traveling with a community choral group to faraway places such as Russia, Norway, Finland, Italy, Australia and New Zealand was the opportunity of a lifetime, and she hopes to continue exploring other countries whenever possible.

On the home front, Pat enjoys jewelry-making, photography, theater, and caring for several very spoiled pets and a wonderful, supportive husband.  Pat’s goal for her new life in Arkansas is to learn to speak “Southern.”
