Valisha "Li" McClain, M.S.

Administrative Support, Disability and Veterans Resource Centers

Valisha “Li” McClain recently completed her Master of Science degree in Addiction Counseling from a private Christian university out of Arizona. Li currently works for both the Disability and Veterans Resources offices as the Administrative Support.  She has been with the college since 2004, starting out as a work-study in Advising and then going on to work full-time for Student Records, Learner Success, and then to her current position.

Li loves to work with all different populations and hopes to go on to get her Doctorate degree in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis on Military Psychology.  Li is married and together she and her husband have six children, ranging in age from 10 to 18 – three boys and three girls.  Li stays busy with school, work, church and family, but in what little spare time she does get, she loves to sing, which has earned her the nickname "Karaoke Queen.”
