Compass Test for Incoming

 Freshmen and Returning Students

State law requires first time entering college students to demonstrate academic preparedness in reading, writing and math.

NWACC offers the internet-based COMPASS/ESL test for students to take their initial assessment
and for re-testing in one or more sections.

This is a self-paced computerized test offered at the main campus in Bentonville.

Appointments are not required for the Compass exam. Hours for taking the exam are Mondays through Thursdays 8:30am-6pm and Fridays 9am through 11:30am.

Always see the Student Records office followed by the Cashier's window to pay the $10 fee prior to testing.

You can study for the COMPASS by visiting www.act.org/compass.
