Art Achievements

Carol Cooper was awarded a 2016 Sabbatical.

Dayna Enderson attended Henderson State during the summer for their "Intensive Studio Workshop for Art Instructors" for the 5th year.

Sean Fitzgibbon was featured in the following.

  • The First Boys of Spring DVD cover illustration and design, client Larry Foley Production
  • Current graphic novel in development was featured in Creating Comics as Journalism, Memoir & Nonfiction written by nonfiction comics professors and scholars Randy Duncan, Michael Ray Taylor, and David Stoddard.
  • Featured work at CCC Holiday Gift Market inside the Walton Arts Center's Joy Pratt Markham Gallery.
  • Presentation at Bentonville Public Library May 2015 Going Graphic: The Documentary in Graphic Novel Form 
  • Exhibited work at Springdale Public Library, Springdale, AR
  • Artinfusion presentation at Crystal Bridges with educator Moira Traw.
     

The House of the Seven Gables Museum Store purchased products featuring Joann Lacey's painting.

Stephanie Lewis completed the official Presidential Portrait for Dr. Evelyn Jorgenson in January of 2015.

Deborah Terry had an art exhibition of eight of her works in the Shewmaker Center in October – December 2015 to help celebrate NWACC's 25th Anniversary

Sharon S. Simmons had an art exhibit of thirteen of her works in the Peterson Auditorium in October – January 2016 as the college celebrates NWACC's 25th Anniversary.
