Art Achievements

Carol Cooper had some students who have been approached by galleries for representation: Ruth Lawlor, Carole Dosier, Bill Correll and Paul Padzuikas.

She will have quite a lot of interaction with Crystal Bridges this fall with field trips and their exhibitions.

  • October 2017 - contributing artwork to the NorthWest Arkansas Women's Shelter show.
  • June 2017 - Two week trip to Ireland.  Lots of exploration of medieval castles and Irish history.
  • October 2016 - One-day watercolor and writing workshop at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Bentonville, AR.
  • October 2016 - Solo Exhibition at GalleryTwo25 in Bentonville, AR.

Dayna Enderson attended Henderson State during the summer for their "Intensive Studio Workshop for Art Instructors" for the 5th year.

Sean Fitzgibbon has been working on his book and keeping busy with his two-month old daughter.

  • November 2017 – will have work in the John Brown University art gallery (November 16-December 14).  
  • February 2017 – Had a show at the Van Buren Center for Art and Education.  

Sean was featured in the following.

  • The First Boys of Spring DVD cover illustration and design, client Larry Foley Production
  • Current graphic novel in development was featured in Creating Comics as Journalism, Memoir & Nonfiction written by nonfiction comics' professors and scholars Randy Duncan, Michael Ray Taylor, and David Stoddard.
  • Featured work at CCC Holiday Gift Market inside the Walton Arts Center's Joy Pratt Markham Gallery.
  • Presentation at Bentonville Public Library May 2015 Going Graphic: The Documentary in Graphic Novel Form 
  • Exhibited work at Springdale Public Library, Springdale, AR
  • Artinfusion presentation at Crystal Bridges with educator Moira Traw.

Suzanne Jones was a selected artist for the 2017 Art on the Creeks fair in Rogers.

Joann Lacey's painting was featured in products purchased by The House of the Seven Gables Museum.
