A student must meet the following criteria for nomination:
- 3.0 GPA
- Minimum 6 credit hour enrollment
- A commitment to education, leadership, social awareness/personal development and community service/co-curricular activities *
- Intention to register for classes in at least one semester of the next academic year*
*Once nominated, students receive an application so they may expand upon their nomination criteria. A committee scores each eligible student and the monthly winner is chosen. Those not chosen stay in the pool for the remainder of the academic year. Students may be nominated from prior semesters in the same academic year.
