Native American Festival | April 26
Students of the Native American Project, a service-learning project, are inviting
students, staff and the public to a Native American Festival. There will be Cherokee
games, food and student presentations. The event will be held in the Student Center 108, Friday, April 26th from 11 AM - 3 PM.
In the early afternoon, Cherokee National Treasures, Kathy & Perry Vanbuskirk and
Betty Frogg will be presenting on basketry, traditional weaponry and crafts that they
have been recognized for by the Cherokee Nation.
There will also be be supply drive/fundraiser for the Cherokee Immersion School.

- Handgame (Stickgame)
- Coloring Station
12 PM - 12:30 PM -
Lunch (Indian Tacos) & Storytelling

- Culture Trail of Tears
