NWACC Region 10 History Day Competition March 12 - 15
For its tenth year, NWACC will be hosting the 2021 Region 10 History Day Competition virtually on March 12th -15th.
Students in 3rd -12th grade from regional schools will compete in the History Day Region 10 Competition by choosing a historical topic related to this year's theme—Communication in History. They will conduct research, analyze/interpret sources to draw a conclusion about their topic, and present their work as a research paper, exhibit, performance, website, documentary and poster.
The National History Day program is a highly regarded academic program for elementary
and secondary school students.
History Day schedule:
March 12th - 15th:
- March 12th - 15th: The public may view student website, research papers, documentaries, performances,
exhibits and posters. View their submissions.
- March 12th at 12 PM: The public can view the awards ceremony online where scholarships, cash and prizes will be awarded. The top three in each category, except for posters, will advance to the state history day competition. Online video will be posted soon.
