New Cell Culture Room and Updated Undergraduate Research Laboratory | March 8th
Visit the Science Undergraduate Research Lab and experience molecular research by running an electrophoretic gel and learn about new student opportunities in the Cell Culture Laboratory.
The lab is used to conduct scientific research and provides opportunities for NWACC science classes. Students who participate in Undergraduate Research present their findings at a biomedical research meeting every Fall. NWACC is one of a few community colleges in the U.S. that provide student access to scientific research at this level.

More about the lab:
The research lab is run by Dr. LaShall Bates and Dr. Gary Bates, science faculty. Research funding is provided by AR-CURE, CBEC, and Perkins Grants. Additional materials provided by the Science Department.
