Join Sweet Freedom Cheese founder Jessica Keahey and Brightwater Instructor James King for a lesson in holiday hosting. Jessica will be showcasing a few of her hand-selected cheeses for the holidays, as well as breaking down the proper elements of a cheese plate. James will cover his picks for holiday party wines ranging from sweet and bubbly whites, to rich and robust reds.

Tis the season for holiday cookie decorating! Gather the family, step into Brightwater’s pastry kitchen with Chef Ashley Larson, and decorate sugar cookies with a variety of icings and toppings. Cookie shapes will range from Christmas trees and gingerbread men to mittens and snowflakes. Take home an assortment of 20 delicious cookies in a gift box at the end of the class. Details: When: Friday, December 20th from 6 PM – 9 PM Where: Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food Cost: $40 per person. Children ages 9 – 17 welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
