Non-Traditional Student Organization
Join the Non-Traditional Student Organization (NTSO) at NWACC! This club was created
to support non-traditional NWACC students who have been out of high school for a long
period and pursuing college. The primary focus of the club is to help students with
college struggles such as technology issues, test anxiety, stress management, financial
aid resources, and to be cheerleaders for each other to accomplish our college dreams.
The club will be predominately an online focus group as we collaborate to help each
other resolve school-related issues we are facing.
Non-traditional students covers a variety of students. These can include any of the
following:
- Delayed enrollment into post-secondary education
- Received GED rather than high school diploma
- Attends school part-time
- Works full-time while going to college
- Financially independent for financial aid purposes
- Married
- Has children or dependents
- Military veteran
- Older than 24
