Student, Staff & Faculty Parking


NWACC is committed to providing quality parking services to students, faculty and staff. Each person parking on campus will be required to display a current parking hangtag. The parking garage is for students, but has limited number of 24-hour reserved spaces for faculty and staff. In addition, 24-hour reserved numbered spaces are available in other surface parking areas. 

COVID-19 Update | Parking for Fall 2020

Employees:

  • Current employees: Please use existing hang tag that was issued for 2019-2020 through to Dec. 31, 2020. Park ONLY in designated spaces for faculty and staff and reserved (if you’ve paid for reserved). 

  • NEW employees (as of April 2020): Please reach out to Human Resources to make arrangements to pick up your hangtag from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) in the Center for Health Professions (CHP).  Park ONLY in designated spaces for faculty and staff and reserved (if you’ve paid for reserved). 

  • Reserved parking: If you are currently paying for reserved parking and would like to discontinue, please notify DPS at 479-619-4229 to fill out the necessary paperwork. Please be aware that if you decide to discontinue your reserved spot, the spot will not be held.

Students: 
No parking permit or hang tag will be required for NWACC locations for fall 2020. Be sure to ONLY park in the student designated parking on the grounds and in the parking garage.

Student Parking

Hangtags for new or returning students will be distributed at the Student Information Desk in the Student Center. Anyone parking without a hangtag will be issued a citation. Parking fines are listed in the parking policy. For additional information contact NWACC's Department of Public Safety.


Faculty and Staff Parking

General parking is $5 each fiscal year and will automatically be renewed and payroll deducted. 

Reserved parking is also an option. Payment is made through payroll deduction, assessed on a per-pay period basis. Renewal for reserved parking is automatic unless you opt out by notifying payroll. Part-time employees will pay cash for reserved numbered parking spaces. Hangtags for numbered reserved spaces will be available from the Department of Public Safety, CHP 1042.

Hangtag Renewals


All employees must have a current NWACC-issued hangtag for each upcoming academic year (by August 1st). Please follow these instructions to receive your new hangtag.

  • General surface faculty/staff parking: Please bring your current NWACC ID card and hangtag to the Public Safety window, CHP 1042, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm to receive a new hangtag.

  • Reserved faculty/staff parking: Please bring your current NWACC ID card and hangtag to the Public Safety window, CHP 1042, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

  • Part-time faculty that have reserved parking: You are not eligible for payroll deductions for parking fees. Please go to Cashier’s Office after July 1st and pay the fee. Bring the cash receipt along with your current NWACC ID card and hangtag to the Public Safety window, CHP 1042 to receive a new hangtag.

  • If you do not have a current NWACC ID (with a barcode), please go to the Student Center Information Desk. Hangtags will not be issued without your ID card and current hangtag.


ALL faculty/staff MUST have a current hangtag by August 1st, regardless of where you park. Anyone parking without a hangtag will be issued a citation. Parking fines are listed in the parking policy.
