Cinematic Studies

By taking courses in cinematic studies or film arts, you'll learn about various theoretical, historical, and critical approaches to films, and examine the evolution, influence, and artistic elements of American film from the late 1800s to the present.

Studying film allows you to educate yourself about issues you weren't unaware of, become more attuned to the impact of historic and political events, and appreciate a good film or theater production even more.
