Steven R. Hinds
Executive Director of Public Relations and Marketing

Steven is the Executive Director of Public Relations and Marketing. He holds a bachelor's degree in public administration and a master's degree in higher education administration from the University of Arkansas.

Steven has experience in higher education, banking, marketing, public relations, and entrepreneurial business. He is a volunteer for several boards, committees, and non-profit organizations.

The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal named Steven to its annual "Forty under Forty" list and he received the Service Award from the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

A Springdale native, Steven and his family live in Fayetteville.

Debbie Miller
Communications Specialist

An Arkansas native, Debbie spent more than 25 years working as a daily newspaper reporter, news editor, city editor, managing editor and features editor for publications throughout the state. She worked in the local media market 13 years before joining the public relations team at NWACC in 2011.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in mass communications, both from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She also recently earned a second master’s degree in leadership and ethics from John Brown University.

She has a strong affinity for the work and mission of a large number of area nonprofit organizations and is a member of Arkansas Press Women/National Federation of Press Women and the Public Relations Society of America.

Her role at NWACC entails preparing news releases, press advisories and media kits, writing speeches and remarks, and developing content for internal communications pieces such as The NWACC Insight and daily announcements.

She and her husband reside in Bentonville.

Robert S. Hanlon
Marketing Director

Rob has  been with the college since 2009. In that time, he has worked with virtually every department on campus to help promote our mission, events, professors and programs.

As a product of community colleges and a first generation college graduate, Rob understands the enormous value of this institution and the role we all play in the lives of our students.

Rob has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri Southern State University and an Associate of Arts Degree from Crowder College.

Rob enjoys photography, backpacking, fine art, and the non-sequitur absurdities of everyday life.
