Admission Requirements for New Students

  • $35 USD non refundable  application fee
  • Financial Form and Proof of Finances translated in English
  • Proof of high school graduation translated in English (H.S. Diploma or College transcripts)
  • Proof of English Requirements (TOEFL, IELTS, Approved ELS level or College Transcripts). TOEFL Institutional Code for NorthWest Arkansas Community College is: 9754
  • TOEFL Score: Paper based-500; Computer based: 173; Internet based: 61
  • IELTS-International English Language Testing System: Score required: 5.0

Note: All students will be required to take the COMPASS Placement test on arrival

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Proof of Immunization ( 2 MMR and Tuberculosis testing)
Proof of Health Insurance Student Insurance (Enroll or a waiver required)

An I-20 will be issued only after these requirements are met.

                                                                                                                     

New Student Orientation

New student orientation is required for all new international students. All new international students enrolling for the new semester must attend the On-Campus Orientation session as indicated in the orientation form. During the sessions, you will learn important information regarding the U. S. government regulations for international students, college requirements, advising, and class registration, as well as give you an opportunity to meet with staff, faculty, and other international students.
