Music at NWACC is big and getting bigger!  The department offers a range of private lessons, music ensembles, and classroom subjects available to degree-seeking students, community volunteers, and the general public. The Music Department offers courses in both traditional and commercial music for students who plan on transferring as music majors to four-year institutions, for those who need to satisfy general education requirements, and for those who wish to earn a certificate or associate degree in traditional or commercial music. Our program provides performance opportunities for music majors, non-music majors, and non-traditional students looking to participate in music classes. Careers in traditional music include professional performance, conducting, arts management, composing, academic research, and public and private teaching.

STUDY MUSIC ABROAD! NWACC's Global Studies program will host our first summer campus in Siena, Italy, June 2016.  Watch for more opportunities to live and study abroad with NWACC.
