Ms. Rose has served over five years as a college educator, specializing in retail, leadership, and management. Prior to accepting a position at NWACC, Ms. Rose worked for several global and regional corporations in the areas of retail, medical, and pharmaceuticals. She also started and owned two businesses. Ms. Rose brings this real world experience into the classroom in order to prepare her students for a bright future. In addition to her classroom duties, Ms. Rose was heavily involved in the development of the Retail Management Program, has been elected to two terms on the Faculty Senate and currently serves on the Curriculum Committee. She also serves as Program Coordinator for the Associate of Applied Science Business Programs. Ms. Rose graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Management and a Master's in Business Administration.

Rebecca Webb, Chair of the Computer Information Department, has been a professor at NorthWest Arkansas Community College since 1995. Webb earned a Master's degree in Information Systems from Arkansas State University in 1983. During her 31-year career in education, Webb has taught a wide variety of computer courses including programming languages, database management, and Intro to Computer Information. She regularly attends regional and national conferences to keep current on technology trends. Webb serves on several local and regional advisory boards and committees. A resident of Springdale, she especially enjoys time with her two grandchildren and family.

Dr. Aguiar currently teaches economics, statistics, and other business courses in the business department at NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) in Arkansas. Since beginning at NWACC in 2001, he has served a year in an interim role as Associate Dean of the Business and Computer Information Division, three years as Chair of the Business Department, and two years as Faculty Senate President. Dr. Aguiar started his teaching career as an adjunct instructor in 1996 at Oglala Lakota College. He has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses for the University of Phoenix, a graduate accounting course for Webster University, and undergraduate courses at Colorado State University – Global, the University of Maryland University College, and the University of Arkansas. Prior to his teaching career, Dr. Aguiar served twenty years in the United States Air Force as a Munitions Systems Superintendent. Dr Aguiar earned a BS in Business Administration from Husson College, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from South Dakota State University, a Master of Business Administration from Troy State University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Argosy University. Dr. Aguiar is married to a wonderful, supportive woman and has 6 children (4 boys and 2 girls) and 10 grandchildren (4 boys and 6 girls) and 1 great grandchild (a girl).

Deborah has enjoyed teaching business courses at NorthWest Arkansas Community College since 1996. She graduated from the U of A in Fayetteville, with a nursing degree. She also earned a Master's Degree in Human Resources and a Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, both from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas; and an Associates' degree in business from Harrison Community College.

Christopher Neyland brings his real-world transportation and logistics knowledge as well as economics background into the classroom to educate students on this subject matter and prepare them for their careers in business. He has over 15 years of experience in the transportation logistics industry and now serves as the lead faculty member for the Logistics program at NorthWest Arkansas Community College. Mr. Neyland holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and an undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky at Lexington.

Sheila has been an educator at either the high school or community college level for almost 20 years. She has also worked as a bookkeeper and marketing coordinator. She has served as a program coordinator and department head, chaired many committees, served on Faculty Senate, successfully written grants for furthering technology in the classroom, built partnerships with businesses, and taught a variety of business- and computer-related courses in her years in academia. Sheila is an exceptionally qualified instructor and strives to maintain excellence in the class while helping students to further their educational endeavors. Sheila is an Associate Professor of Business at NorthWest Arkansas Community College.

Mr. Swango possesses over 16 years of experience as a college educator, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Mr. Swango has over seven years of audit and consulting experience in national and regional public accounting firms including Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Arthur Andersen & Company. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Reliable Financial Corporation while managing their successful merger and acquisition by First Commonwealth Financial Corporation (FCF: Indiana, PA). Mr. Swango earned his B.S. and M.S. in Accountancy from Oklahoma State University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas, Oklahoma (inactive), and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (inactive) and graduated from the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School. Mr. Swango is currently an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Born in southeast Kansas, Lindel attended the University of Arkansas and received his BSBA (major in Finance) and MBA there. Lindel's interest in Asia and development led to several extended stays in China, both as an educator and factory manager. Lindel has been recognized by the China National Foreign Experts Bureau with his contribution to China's development and has received awards for his teaching excellence. Lindel has been at NWACC since 2011 and is an Associate Professor of Business and primarily teaches Economics. He has served on numerous committees focused on furthering education and brings real-world industry experience to the classroom to prepare students for their careers in business.

Mr. Allen Baker is the faculty lead for the Mobile Applications development program. Mr. Baker brings over 35 years of engineering experience to the classroom, including over 10 years at NASA. He holds multiple patents, as well as Masters and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. Mr. Baker has taught for over 15 years at both the University of Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas Community College.

Amy Bensinger brings over 16 years of teaching experience to the classroom. She has enjoyed teaching Computer Aided Design (CAD) courses at NorthWest Arkansas Community College since 2000. She has been the CAD Program Coordinator since 2008. She teaches a variety of CAD courses each year, including: AutoCAD I & II, Engineering Graphics, Advanced Parametric Modeling, Advanced 3D Modeling, etc. Amy received her M.Ed. Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Prior to her teaching career, Amy has 18 years of work experience in CADD and Engineering support at Lockheed Martin Astronautics in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO.

Kimberly Bertschy received her B.S.E and M.S. at the University of Arkansas. She is a candidate for a M.S. Cybersecurity from Utica College, Utica, NY. In addition to teaching, Kimberly participates with the campus Red Flag Campaign and collaborates with community organizations to provide outreach in the areas of domestic violence, internet safety and cybersecurity. Prior to teaching, Kimberly was a Police Investigator for the University of Arkansas Police Department. During her nine years with UAPD, she received computer forensic training from the United States Secret Service and served on a joint task force with the FBI.

Dr. Burkes has worked in education for over 30 years, including 14 years at the college level. She has taught at the University of North Texas [graduate and undergraduate courses], Navarro College, and Mountain View College, and has been teaching at NWACC since 2007. She has a PhD in Applied Technology and Performance improvement from the University of North Texas. She currently serves full-time as the director of Distance Learning at NWACC.

Jeremy Gammill is an Information Systems professional and a valued adjunct instructor in the Computer Information Department at NorthWest Arkansas Community College. Jeremy teaches a variety of computer courses including Web Page Design, Intro to Computer Information, Internet Resourcing, and Web Programming. He received his Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Jeremy loves teaching, which he does in addition to his career in website development/technology for a major NWA business. Jeremy has always enjoyed learning about the latest and greatest Web technologies, and has a passion for sharing this knowledge with his students.

Holliday was raised in Snow Lake, Arkansas- a small town located in the South Eastern part of the state; graduated from Elaine High School, and has her name "chiseled" in the YOU of A Senior Walk three times! Known to many as "Doc Holliday," Erica is currently an Associate Professor at NorthWest Arkansas Community College in the Business and Computer Information Division. Dr. Holliday's passion for educating students in the world of technology and using a "real-world" curriculum has gained her many honors in her profession for her service and leadership. Her humor and her sincere compassion to help others have always guided her in her life's journey! She attributes her steadfast dedication to her profession to her parents and life mentors. Their wisdom and knowledge taught her, to live by the "Good, Better, Best" Motto: "Good, Better, Best" I'll never Rest Until, my Good is Better And my Better is BEST!

Ralph Bernie Lantz has been a FT instructor in the Computer Information Department at NorthWest Arkansas Community College since 2009. He teaches a variety of classes including: various computer networking and computer security courses, Operating Systems (UNIX), and classes covering the Microsoft Office Suite. Bernie received his M.S. Degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa. Before coming to NWACC, Bernie taught for six years at Utah State University. In his spare time, Bernie enjoys photography and travelling.

Cathy Marak brings over 30 years of teaching experience to her students. She has been a FT Faculty member and the Program Coordinator of the NWACC Computer Networking Program since 2008. Cathy received her Master of Education/Educational Technology degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She has held a CCNA certification since 2000. Cathy teaches the CISCO certification courses as well as other computer networking courses. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys being a member of The Orchid Society of the Ozarks and the Flower Garden and Nature Society of Northwest Arkansas for which she is also the newsletter editor.

Mr. Shane May is a passionate and articulate educator. He has been actively teaching for the last eight years at both the University and Community College level, before coming to NWACC, and has been recognized as a Phi Theta Kappa Mentor. He received a B.S. in Computer Science, a M.S in Computer Information Systems and a M.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science, all from the University of Houston. Shane is currently completing his Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. Shane has several years of experience in Project Management along with Web and Software development. He has taught a wide range of courses including: programming languages (Java, C++, C#, VB.Net), web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP), data structures / algorithms, and database programming / design. Shane's research interest include Human and Computer interaction, Design Patterns, Programming theory / practice, and student engagement.

Cristy Stamps has devoted her professional career to teaching computer/business education courses to students in the NorthWest Arkansas area. She received her Master's Degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and has enjoyed teaching as a FT instructor at NWACC since August, 1999. Cristy teaches a variety of courses in the office administration area including Excel spreadsheet, ACCESS database, Database Concepts, etc.
