Chef Lou Rice

Chef Lou Rice is a certified chef by the American Culinary Federation and a certified Hospitality instructor by the American Hotel and Lodging Association. He holds a degree in culinary arts from Ivey Tech State College in Indiana and a Master¹s degree in Consumer Science from Ball State
University. Prior to his position as director of Culinary Arts for NorthWest Arkansas Community College, Chef Rice was the division chair for Culinary and Hospitality at Ozarks Technical Community College in Missouri. His career background includes over 12 years of culinary and hospitality educational teaching and administration. Prior to entering the education field, Chef Lou  cooked at various country clubs, privately owned operations, several colleges and his own restaurant and catering operations, which is a book all in itself. Chef has a solid background in catering, fine and casual dining and loves to play with ethnic foods and BBQ.
