New Employee Orientation
New Employee Orientation is a collaborative effort between Human Resources and Staff Development.
New Employee Orientation is hosted every other week and consists of two half days held on the new employee's first two days at NWACC. Supervisors of new employees are contacted at least two days in advance regarding New Employee Orientation.
Expanded Orientation - New Employee On-Boarding
Staff Development works with College leaders to provide New Employee Orientation. NWACC On-Boarding program offers additional informational training sessions facilitated by division and department content experts. Click here to access the Training Calendar for a list of available classes. Although designed for new employees, these sessions are open to all College employees based upon supervisor recommendation.
We Value Your Input
Following New Employee Orientation, Supervisors of new employees are contacted via email for feedback on this process. Additionally, all new employees have the opportunity to evaluate New Employee Orientation using an online survey. Results are used to assess and improve New Employee Orientation.

Additional training can be requested by completing the Training Request Form. Once your request is submitted, Staff Development will contact you to discuss your training and/or development needs.
