New Employee Orientation
New Employee Orientation is a collaborative effort between Human Resources and Professional Development.
New Employee Orientation is hosted every other week and consists of two half days held on the new employee's first two days at NWACC. Supervisors of new employees are contacted at least two days in advance regarding New Employee Orientation.
Expanded Orientation - New Employee On-Boarding
Professional Development has initiated a collaborative effort with College leaders to expand and improve New Employee Orientation. As a result, an NWACC On-Boarding program is currently in development incorporating informational training sessions facilitated by division and department content experts. Classes and registration will be posted to the Training Calendar as they become available, and although designed for new employees, will be open to all College employees based upon supervisor recommendation.
We Value Your Input
Following New Employee Orientation, Supervisors of new employees are contacted via email for feedback on this process. Additionally, all new employees have the opportunity to evaluate New Employee Orientation using an online survey. Results are used to assess and improve New Employee Orientation.

Additional training can be requested by completing the Training Request Form. Once your request is submitted, a team member from Professional Development will contact you to discuss your training and/or development needs.
