EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

  • The Emergency Management program is designed to provide the structure and guidance for the development of a hierarchy of programs for preparation, mitigation, planning, and recovery from disasters.
  • Responsible for ensuring that NWACC is prepared to respond to, recover from, and mitigate against the effects of a wide variety of disasters that  could adversely affect the health, safety, and/or general welfare of its students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families.
  • Maintain an emergency alert and notification, delivered through established protocols. It utilizes a variety of tools that can be activated in an emergency situation. 
RISK MANAGEMENT
  • Maintain a risk management process within NWACC designed to identify and assess risk management strategies used to provide reasonable assurance regarding achievement of the College’s mission.
  • Identify major activities, processes, and functions after reviewing missions, goals, and objectives.
  • Identify and assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain an emergency alert and notification, delivered through established protocols. It utilizes a variety of tools that can be activated in an emergency situation.
