Sometimes the college has a "special" scholarship opportunity for the spring, when not all the funds allotted for the fall semester are used. Students will receive an announcement through the college with deadline information if a "special" scholarship opportunity exists.
Board of Trustees Scholarship and AATYC Scholarship.
One student is awarded the scholarship annually. Students are selected from the pool of Golden Eagle recipients each year and must have one year left at NWACC.
Congratulations to Aaron Jones for winning the Board of Trustees Scholarship for 2013-2014 and the AATYC Scholarship!

Scholarships may be available for NWACC Honors Program students who plan to transfer to four-year institutions. The UA offers a transfer scholarship for students transferring from a community college. Additionally, money may be available for students who graduate from the NWACC Honors Program and transfer into the university's Honors College. For example, students who join the Honors College at UA has money available for students to study abroad and/or conduct research on their senior honors thesis. Other local universities offer scholarships to honors students.
Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa, an international honors society on campus, also provides scholarships for its members. Contact PTK advisor Dr. Will Karigomba for more information.
